This New Year’s Eve, marvel at unparalleled views of the most spectacular fireworks display in the world, bursting forth from Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

Let the festivities on the harbour entrance as you indulge in a culinary extravaganza featuring lavish grazing stations, tasty roaming canapes, and decadent desserts.

Of course, it wouldn’t be NYE without bubbles, plus some of Australia’s outstanding red, wine and rose blends, as well as cocktails and mocktails!

Taste an opulent selection of East 33 Sydney rock oysters, Western Australian pink snapper sashimi, mushroom bao buns, and Wagyu beef tartare with truffle aioli.

Count down to the stroke of midnight with our Macaron Clock Countdown dessert, filled with delicate flavours of raspberry champagne, macadamia passionfruit, and vibrant lemon meringue pie.

New Year’s Eve at Blu Bar on 36 is available on Tuesday, 31 December 2025 from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

Priced at AUD 1,249 per person including grazing stations, roaming canapes, and standard beverage package.

The event is a cocktail-style standing function, with limited seating available throughout the evening.

  • This event is strictly 18+ and guests may be required to present a Government issued ID (photo card, driver’s license or passport).

Standard Reservation:

  • Prepayment is required to secure reservations.
  • Payment made by card will incur a 1.85% merchant fee.
  • Shangri-La Circle points cannot be redeemed for bookings at this event.
  • This event is not part of the Shangri-La Circle programme, and payments will not earn or redeem Shangri-La Circle points. Internal notes: If guests wish to arrange a transaction personally, they must notify us at least 48 hours before the intended booking date. An EPL with a validity of 5 hours will be sent out to the guests.

Cancellation + No Show Policy:

  • It is recommended to purchase travel insurance, as this New Year's Eve booking at Blu Bar is non-refundable.
  • Prepayment will not be refunded or transferred for hotel credits under any circumstances.
  • In the event of a no-show or cancellation, the restaurant will automatically cancel the reservation, and prepayment will not be refunded or transferred for hotel credits under any circumstances. The venue will retain the payment permanently.
