Treat the most cherished women in your life to a sweet escape with a delightful High Tea Buffet, set in the elegant Grand Ballroom.

Shangri-La Sydney’s renowned pastry team has lovingly created a tempting selection of indulgent treats, designed to make her day even more special. Think strawberry layer mousse with vanilla genoise and rose petal, orange blossom carrot cake with cream cheese frost and walnut crumble, and our signature lemon meringue tart with yuzu lemon curd and toasted meringue.

The celebration continues with an enticing selection of gourmet sandwiches featuring wagyu pastrami, butcher's ham with eggplant fritters, and bocconcini with Roma tomato and basil pesto, complemented by hot delicacies including chicken filo pillows, barramundi spring rolls, and lamb pies.

High Tea would not be complete without our signature buttermilk scones, paired with free-flowing tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juices and deliciously more!

Mother's Day High Tea Buffet is available in the Grand Ballroom on Saturday 10th May and Sunday 11th May in two seating times from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

Priced at AUD 109 per adult with tea and coffee, AUD 149 per adult including free flow of sparkling wine and AUD 89 per child (aged 11 and under). Complimentary for aged 2 and under.

Terms and Conditions

  • Guest(s) must purchase tickets for all members of their group in a single transaction. Unfortunately, additional seats cannot be added on the day. A booking fee will apply. Table allocation will be finalised on the day of the event, with a maximum of 10 guests per table.
  • Modifications to ticket dates will not be permitted after purchase.
  • Prepayments are non-refundable in the event of a no-show or cancellation. The prepayment is non-transferable for hotel credits. This venue is not participating in the Shangri-La Circle programme, and payments cannot be used to earn or redeem Shangri-La Circle points.
  • The buffet menu is subject to change without notice. Additional drinks will be available for purchase on the day. Alcoholic beverages will only be served to guests aged 18 years and above, and photo ID may be required.
  • Special dietary requirements will be accommodated separately.
  • Candles, flowers, props, or tableware must not be taken after the experience ends. Charges may apply for missing items.
  • Any outstanding balance must be settled by card before departure. Payments made by card will incur a merchant fee.
