This New Year’s Eve, take your front-row seat at Altitude and revel in Sydney’s iconic fireworks display from level 36.

As you countdown to the stroke of midnight, Executive Sous-Chef Michele Menegazzi will commence the festivities with a bespoke 8-course menu including vibrant tasting notes and seasonal ingredients inspired by the electric atmosphere.

This auspicious occasion will feature signature dishes including wagyu beef wellington and honey-glazed duck breast. As a New Year beckons, delight in a pavlova tower as the sweetest finale to proceedings.

Your dining experience will be enhanced with an iconic wine pairing, selected by Altitude’s Executive Sommelier, Shun Eto.

It is time to ring in the New Year from Sydney’s ultimate fireworks vantage point where you’ll marvel at unforgettable views of Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. 

The sumptuous New Year’s Eve dinner is set to light up Altitude on Level 36, from 7:30pm to 12:30am on 31 December, 2025.

Main dining room (non-window) is priced at $1,650 per adult with matched wines.

Guaranteed window table is priced at $2,350 per adult with matched wines.

Altitude’s Private Dining Room is available for a private event with a prepaid minimum spend of $29,000 for a maximum of 18 guests. A 10% service surcharge applies.

Terms and Conditions

  • The menu and offerings are subject to seasonal changes and may vary throughout the year based on ingredient availability and special events.
  • This event is strictly 18+ and guests may be asked to present a Government-issued ID (photo card, driver’s license or passport) for verification.
  • Prepayment is required to secure reservations.
  • Payment with card will incur a merchant fee of 1.85%.
  • Shangri-La Circle points cannot be redeemed for bookings at this event.
  • Should the guests opt not to participate in the wine pairing, it will be substituted with non-alcoholic pairings. Alternatively, guests may choose to accept the value of the wine pairings as a shortfall towards the overall fee.
  • For Altitude's Private Dining Room reservation, a 10% service fee will applied. Should guests not meet the minimum spend requirement, the difference will be charged as a shortfall towards the room hire fee.
  • In the event of a no-show or cancellation, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and prepayment will not be refunded or transferred for hotel credits under any circumstances. The venue will retain the payment permanently.
